Cavs Boil My Blood on Easter

April 4, 2010

The Cavs came out against Boston and completely played like absolute crap. The game isn't over as I write this, it is the end of the third. However, it is all but over and Cleveland certainly does not deserve to win this horrible Sunday game.

The Cavaliers have played like absolute garbage all afternoon. They failed to take advantage of the Celtics numerous weaknesses, while also playing dumb basketball and constantly making bad decisions.

This is merely a blip on the march to June for the Cavaliers. The Celtics will be lucky to make it to the Conference finals. The future is bleak with the only noteworthy C's under 30 being Rajon Rondo and role players Kendrick Perkins and Glen Davis. Boston fans who think this Celtics team has a realistic title chance are drinking more Kool-Aid than your typical cult member.

This game is not about the Celtics playing well. It is about the Cavs playing like absolute garbage. With the exception of Mo Williams, every Cavalier should be flat embarrassed with some aspect of their performance.

This team is far better than they have show today and, with their playoff experience, there is no reason to think the Cavs will drop a stink bomb like this at any time during the playoff. Nevertheless, it frustrates the hell out of me as a fan to watch crap like this. Particularly when the worst fan base in sports gets some sort of pleasure out of it.
